Pitch time!

Alright guys! New stuff here! Come 'n get it! Work on the new site has been slow and a pain so sorry here its been a little dry! He're is what I've been working on! My brother and I are working on a pitch for a series called Punch Goodstuff! Its about an out of work super hero being pulled back into heroing against his will by his new sidekick Queen Bee. Comedy and action all in one. Its a lot of fun I think! 

Here are some sort of sketches of the characters and whatnot and Hopefully I will have the Boards and the pitch up soon!

Comics and Toys!

Hey guys! Its been busy but check out what I been up to here! I just finished up my first official comic or Zine really. Get ready for LOS TORTUGAS LUCHA TURTLES! 

Los Tortugas Lucha Turtles is a faux Ninja Turtles bootleg in which our heroes Miguel, Ralph, Leon and Donnal are Luchadors instead of ninjas. And because they are Luchadors I thought it would be funny to write the book in Spanish. Except for I don't really speak spanish, I only ever took 2 years in high-school and did pretty crummy at it. So its jokingly write in broken Spanish  Its a fun time and I hope you all get to check it out! They will be available online shortly! 

We (my brother and I) debuted our new comics at the Designer Con Toy expo in Pasadena this past weekend. It was great and we met a lot of cool people and artist! We cant wait to do it again next year. 

As you can see my Finalized Power Troopers where available as well. I hand cast the sculpt in resin and painted them individually. Hopefully more color ways will be available soon! 

CTN EXPO is coming up cant wait to see you all and have some art hangs soon!

Sorry for the lack of updates all, life has been busy and I am in the middle of trying to upgrade to a new fancier website, and that is of course taking much longer than anticipated. So while we wait why not check out my latest little project? 

Neko Chan Sails Away! a little Ghibli inspired piece about a Cat accidentally jumping out their window.

Seasquatch!

So I was up in Seattle for the Pixar Master class hangin out with my buddy and we started discussing Big Foot cause he is around there and all. We went from Big Foot to Yetti to Sasquatch to whats the next obvious progression? SEASQUATCH. Its like a merfoot! So I had to sit down and scribble the idea down while it was fresh. So here are my rough boards for a Seasquatch! 

Hopefully I can go down this path further and expand on the idea, I think its pretty fun.

Back from Andrew Gordon and Matthew Luhns Story Animation Master Class

It was an amazing experience, my inspiration motors are kicked into full gear, and Comic-Con starts tomorrow, even more networking and inspiration on the way, Keep an eye out guys, lotta stuff commin' up real soon!

The talking dog

Here are some boards I have been working on, I took a joke I found online and modified it to work as a short. Which i find is a great way to come up with a quick concept for a project without spending forever trying to come up with a clever idea. 


This is my first pass, when I get a bit of time I plan on doing a second run of them with some new ideas. So here we go, the moment you've been waiting for, TALKING DOG!

Figure Sculpture!

Here is the first Figure sculpt I've ever done, I had a blast with it, it was very different than just sculpting from an image or your mind. Here is a quick progression of how the sculpt came to be.

and here we are! final detail shots! the whole thing took about 33ish hours give or take. 

Regular Show Test

Here are some boards I did for a recent Regular Show test I took. In the end they passed on me but I still feel proud about the work I produced and think they turned out really great. The test they gave me was to board out a story beat they provided and asked me to produce 5-10 rough boards and 5 cleaned up boards. 


Here are the rough boards I came up with. 

The most interesting part of the test was not only did I have to come up with the boards but I wrote all the Dialogue and Gags as well, which was a challenge and a lot of fun.
